As it was 6 Hours flight so we had to have our lunch in the flight.

Chicken Kung Pao Rice, it taste okok only I still prefer the BBQ Chicken.

So far there’s no problem for me to had a long journey flight because basically I slept alot in the plane but so far the longest I’ve took is just 8 hours I don’t know about those super long journey wan.

This is a must took picture. Anywhere, anytime.

Here we are Tianjin Binhai International Airport.

Waiting to collect our baggages

As Air Asia doesn’t land directly in Beijing so we have to take a shuttle bus to the railway station from airport.

There is a shuttle bus service just right outside the airport so convenient

and it only costs RMB10/each person.

Looked out the board above the entrance that’s how u can find Bich Duyen.

Met up with Quang, our tour guide from Saigon Hotpot (Saigon Hotpot is a group of university students who offer free tours of their native city.  All that needs to be paid is their transport costs to and from your meeting place and entrance fees where necessary.)

Here we are.

Buy ourself a ticket.

Loi Vao.

My pass.

Entered into a briefing room to listen to the history and structure of the Cu Chi tunnels before we start.

We were caught by our curiosities of why there are so crowded at that one spot.

Demonstration by the tourist guide.

He taught us how to hide ourself.

He’s gone.

He tried out himself.

Now u see me.

Now u don’t.

My turn.

I was so afraid that my flip-flop might fall into the hole.

Ok this is a false demonstration.

Why?

Because I might cause enemies spotted our hiding entrance spot by not covered with leaves and IT’S NOT TIGHT!!!

One of the many entrances to the underground tunnels.

Watch out!

It’s a trap.

A very small and narrow entrance.

fake entrance for confusing purpose

Women soldiers were usually tasked to guide the soldiers into the tunnels. So they played very important role when war.

Termite hole for ventilation of the smoke from kitchen

Saw a big tank.

Very big and scary when I was up there.

Gory places.

All the scary traps.

The military workshop.

This is how the process of rice paper are done.

9th April 2010

Got my immigration pass and passport ready.

was stuck in the line to pass the immigration check point for almost 1 and a half hour.

It’s so easy to go Macau from Zhu Hai. Like I mentioned in previous post in Zhu Hai all we need is to go over to GongBei port and walk to the immigration thats it. Don’t need to involve any transportation at all just your two feet.

After came out from here

Hello MACAUuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!

Met up with our tour guide Miss Chong.

And start receiving all the messages like this.

Macau is a sin-city I guess. Too much casino here.

Everything in Macau look so Portuguese. This is called Portas do Cerco.

Saw an Esprit Outlet. There are alot in Hong Kong and I always thought Esprit in Hong Kong will be much cheaper than here but it prove me so wrong. It just the same like what we can get here. Deyammmm…..

How does the bus in Macau look like.

Their school uniform

and I guess this is the primary school uniform??? or different school got different uniform there?? I don’t know

Normally people go Macau they will certainly visit the St. Paul’s church and I don’t know why.

Spotted a boutique name Fatima and it reminds me of Farhana haha

In Macau they drive Toyota Corolla as taxi

Even the road sign board also in a very Portuguese style

Here we go

This is how the back of  The Ruins of St Paul’s Church look like

The Front.

Family’s shot.

went into the Crypt

Alot of Jesus statues in there

Paintings hanging on the wall

The Ruins of St. Paul’s (大三巴牌坊) refer to the façade of what was originally the Cathedral of St. Paul, a 17th century Portuguese cathedral in Macau dedicated to Saint Paul the Apostle. Today, the ruins are one of Macau’s most famous landmarks. In 2005, the Ruins of St. Paul were officially enlisted as part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Historic Centre of Macau.

Timeline

Cute doggie

and there’s a dog fight.

And beside the church it was a Na Tcha Temple 大三巴哪吒廟 is a Buddhist and Taoist temple in Macau dedicated to the worship of the deity Na Tcha.

The temple became one of the designated sites of the Historic Centre of Macau enlisted on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

and the Old Macau City Walls was made out of  clay, sand, rice straw, rocks and oyster shells. The city wall sections are now part of the Historic Centre of Macau UNESCO World Heritage Site also.

clay
sand
rice straw
rocks
oyster shells

Friendly guide.

This are a few houses in Macau

a small road side stall selling books and newspaper like we always saw it in the movies.

Aha! Caltex in Macau :)

Golden Dragon Casino

Hotel Golden Dragon

It’s a buffet lunch this time Woahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Fuhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Yay!!!! Buffet.

1st round

2nd round

Actually I start to felt full but I still go for 3rd round. Yada yada yada I know I am greedy indeed SUper greedy

but you know the food in Villa Picasso *mmmmmmuaaaahhh* Delicious! or maybe just because for the past few days all the food I ate are always the same? Probably.

I realize in Macau they used to parked their bikes under the flyover and in Macau there’s alor of motorcyclist as well

we stopped at a Souvenirs shop to get our souvenirs bought and bring back home fresh.

Orient Arch 东方拱门

The Statue of Guan Yin, a blend between the traditional images of the goddess Guan Yin and Holy Mary. This Guan Yin statue looks sad and what according to my father was because Guan Yin feel sad to see all those people who came over to Macau just because they are all gamblers 赌鬼 hahahaha lameeeee joke.

The buildings in Macau all very Portuguese-ish nd the road are all quite steep.

Here we reached A-Ma Temple 妈阁庙 one of the oldest and most famous temples in Macau. The name Macau is thought to be derived from the name of the temple. It is said that when the Portuguese sailors landed at the coast just outside the temple and asked the name of the place, the natives replied “媽閣”. The Portuguese then named the peninsula Macao.

And I tend to like taking pictures with ROCK hahahaha WTF!

The blessings.

I like how the buildings structure in Macau look like

even a lamp pose also look nice to me. So vintage.

The famous Koi Kei shop.

8th April 2010

Went to Jin He Zhang Yao a chinese medicine store.

Golden tube

Then we headed to ZhuHai fisher girl statue 珠海渔女

The Statue of fisher girl has become the landmark in the city of Zhuhai, located at the scenic Xianglu Bay. She holds a pearl high in the air with both hands in an elegant pose, admiring its bright luster that also symbolizes the brightness of Zhuhai.
The statue is composed of granite and stands 8.7 meters high weighing 10 tons. The legend is that a beautiful fairy maiden fell in love with a young fisherman. He believed some fabricated rumors and asked the girl for the bracelet she wore as proof of her love.
Although she knew she would die if the bracelet were removed from her body, she still took it off and presented it to show her deep love for him. The girl died and the fisherman was bitterly remorseful, crying all day and all night.
An Immortal named Jiuzhou Elder was moved by their love and helped the young man resuscitate the girl. They offered this huge precious pearl to their benefactor during their marriage ceremony as a token of their appreciation for his kindness.

Among all the 6 places I went Zhu Hai is the most coldest place when I were there. The temperature is just 16 degree Celsius but the strong wind can really killed! I really felt like cold to death hahahahahaha

This is the Zhu Hai well-known Couple Road. 珠海情侣路

Time for lunch. The whole trip in Zhu Hai we had our meal in two different restaurant but run by same boss.

Refresh ourself with beers.

Chicken feet soup

Prawn

Fried pumpkin

Mussels

Yummm yummmm

Roasted Chicken

Woahhhhhhhhhhh Love it. but it kill!

Steam vege

Fishy

Lou Poh biscuit.

Oranges

Then to Shijingshan Cableway. The cable car is the only facility for visitors to go sightseeing in the air in Zhuhai but we didn’t went up.

Instead of cable car if you prefer more adventurous you can actually take the sliding car down.

We didn’t want to go up so we just hang around the ShiJingShan park. 石景山

see all those rocky rock. haha Really so China, even a rock also can be a sightseeing spot.

Taught my no skill photographer mum to stand on a spot that can actually took the both rock into one piece of picture.

Next was actually my heaven again.

The Gongbei Port 拱北口岸  is an immigration and customs checkpoint on Mainland China’s border with the Special Administrative Region of Macau but there is a large underground shopping mall under the plaza north of the port-of-entry building.

Wooooooahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!! my world. Imma gonna rule the world. wheeeeeeeee~ ♥ shop til drop. I think among all I bought the most. *evil grin*

After satisfied myself with all my goodies we took our bus back to our hotel and had dinner beside our hotel. It is an art restaurant.

Indeed very artistic I likey!

we always had two big tables for ourself.
